- Primary responsibilities include the instruction and delivery of pre-service and ongoing educational opportunities for DCYF staff. This program is offered in both online and blended formats to meet the needs of busy working professionals.
- Provide consultation on curriculum development, program evaluation, reporting, and faculty recruitment and mentoring.
- Responsible for coordinating course material development with Curriculum Specialists and Instructional Designers.
- Providing attendance reports and maintain an up-to-date grade program. Report grades to administrative support staff in a timely manner.
- Ensure evaluations are completed and collected at the end of every course. Submit evaluation data to administrative support staff in a timely manner.
- Provide continuous feedback on training(s) and participant needs to Director and Assistant Director.
- Responsible for own ongoing professional development to ensure fluency in local, state and national trends on child welfare and juvenile justice.
Duty/Responsibility
- Meet with District Office Supervisors on a periodic basis to identify overarching training needs for their specific teams. Systematically share identified needs with CWEP and DCYF leadership to determine if the need is statewide or specific to that District Office.
- Coordinating on-going training needs of pre-service participants. Create individualized training programs to assist with meeting certification requirements.
- Meet with existing DCYF staff on a regular basis to determine training needs and prepare an individualized training plan to assist with meeting their goals.
- Collect District Office and individual staff training needs in conjunction with CWEP and DCYF training needs assessment process.
Duty/Responsibility
- Coordinate training schedules with Pre-Service Training Coordinator and other CWEP staff.
- Participate in committees as assigned by DCYF and/or the College.
- Travel as needed to provide training and attend offsite meetings.
- Other duties assigned.
